Contacts - or names - are one of the most important data that every phone contains, each of us has hundreds of numbers for family and friends as well as work, so when moving from Android to iPhone or vice versa, you can never leave contacts behind and you will have to transfer them from your old phone to the new. Therefore, today we explain to you how to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone or vice versa, in simple steps.

Transfer contacts from Android to iPhone and vice versa

1- Use the Move to iOS app

Move to iOS is a simple application developed by Apple and it is of course available for Android, simply and through this application you can transfer contacts from your Android phone to your new iPhone, in addition to its ability to transfer other types of files and data! All you have to do is download the application on both phones and then follow the steps on the screen.

  • Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on on your Android device.
  • Connect your new iOS device and Android device to power.
  • Make sure that the content you're transferring, including content stored on your external Micro SD card, is compatible with your new iOS device
  • If you want to transfer your Chrome bookmarks, update to the latest version of Chrome on your Android device.

2- Using a Google account

On your Android phone, go to the settings and then the accounts settings and go to your Google account and then click on the Sync Account and with this you make sure that all your Google account settings have been synchronized on the Internet, and within these settings we find the contacts of course, In the event that your contacts are registered on the device or on the SIM card, you must first transfer them to your Google account through the Contacts application.

Now you have to go to the iPhone settings and then search for Accounts as well and choose Add Account. Here you have to add the same Google account and then activate sync on the iPhone and with this the contacts are synced.

3- Transferring contacts manually

Go to the Contacts application on your Android phone of any type, and then through the settings - the three dots above - create a copy of the contacts through the Export option, once you export Export to Contacts, you will find in front of you a VCF file, which you must transfer to the iPhone Then open it normally, and you will find that all the contacts are stored on the iPhone automatically.

Of course, you can perform the same settings in reverse to transfer from iPhone to Android, or you can simply transfer all the names to the SIM card through the Contacts application settings, so the names will be on your slide, but make sure to take a backup copy of them.
